I’ve been playing around with nutra ads for a while now, and one thing that always confuses me is targeting. Like, everyone says “target the right audience,” but no one really explains what that actually looks like in real campaigns. So I’m curious how others are approaching this because I’ve had mixed results so far.

In the beginning, I thought keeping it simple would work. I tried broad targeting, thinking the algorithm would figure things out. But honestly, that didn’t go too well. I got traffic, but it wasn’t converting. It felt like people were clicking out of curiosity rather than real interest. That made me question if I was completely missing something.

Then I started narrowing things down. I tested targeting based on age groups, interests, and even certain regions. That’s when I noticed a small improvement. It wasn’t huge, but at least the clicks started to feel more meaningful. I also experimented with different ad angles depending on the audience, which seemed to help more than I expected.

At one point, I went through some ideas shared in this guide on Nutra Ads, and it gave me a better sense of how others approach targeting in this space. What stood out to me was the idea of testing small segments instead of going too broad or too specific right away.

One thing I’ve learned is that there’s no single targeting strategy that works every time. Sometimes a wider audience works better, especially when testing a new offer. Other times, going niche gives better results. It really depends on the product and how your ad speaks to that audience.

If I had to share a simple approach, I’d say start a bit broad, then slowly narrow it down based on what’s actually working. Also, don’t ignore your creatives because even the best targeting won’t help if the ad doesn’t connect with people.

I’m still testing and figuring things out, but that’s been my experience so far. Would be great to hear what targeting strategies others are using for nutra ads right now.
